DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Instructs and measures training process of students who train in the established aircrew training curriculum.
Conducts briefings and debriefings and counsels with student to develop and maintain a high level of proficiency.
Performs administrative duties relative to training; such as recordkeeping, monitoring student progress, counseling, training development and maintenance of training programs.
Maintains a high level of subject knowledge, capability and expertise.
Analyzes test items and cumulative data for trends, and performs basic trend analysis.
Maintains a thorough working knowledge of all applicable regulations, instructions, procedures, Technical Orders, and other publications as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

Learn More About This Job
Education: Graduate of the USAF Weapons School or Fighter Weapons School. Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or a related discipline is preferred.
Training and Experience: Previous experience as F-15E Instructor with currency in the last year or appropriate recurrency/transition training. Must be qualified in: Night Vision Goggles (NVG), Low-Altitude Navigation & Targeting Infrared for Night (LANTIRN),
Desired Experience: Previous experience as an academic (FTU) platform instructor.
Rated aircrew must have more than 1,500 flying hours and more than 500 instructor flying hours.
Qualified in the aircraft within the preceding four (4) years or qualified as a contract instructor within the preceding two (2) years.
Have attended a formal military academic instructor course or civilian equivalent.
